Let’s spend some time talking about all the confusion about carbohydrates and easy weight loss. A question that needs to be answered is “Does carbohydrates make one fat?” The answer is no.
We need carbohydrates for our body to function properly. You will actually have zero energy and your brain and your spinal cord will not function very well if your body does not consume carbohydrates through eating.
So what exactly is a carb? Carbs come from foods like breads, pasta, and potatoes. Carbs are also in fruits, vegetables, and some beans. Most people think of bread and pasta as carbs but you can get the carbs you need from fruits and vegetables.
So when you eat these carbs your body takes the carbohydrates, breaks them down, and converts them into glucose. You need that glucose in your blood system for your body to function well. Your body also takes the carbohydrates and stores them as energy in your liver and muscles. So you needs carbs when you exercise.
The problem is that people eat more carbs than their body needs. Especially in the form of breads, pasta, and processed foods. And the problem is that the body turns them into glucose and if you do not expend enough energy to consume all the glucose your body stores unused glucose as fat. And you know what fat does to our body.
So follow these simple rules and your body will have enough energy without gaining unwanted fat. Only eat starchy carbohydrates after activities and work out. Eat fruits and vegetables with everyone of your meals during the day.
